What is a Responsible Individual?
The Responsible Individual acts as a mortgage company’s representative with the Arizona Department of Financial Institutions, AZDFI. They must be an actual person with at least 3 years of mortgage broker or similar lending experience to qualify and has to be able to manage all licensee activity.
Responsibilities
- Statutory Agent with the Arizona Corporations Commission
- Assist with the paperwork from the Arizona Corporations Commission and Secretary of State
- Provide Brick & Mortar locations
- Compliance Reviews
- Assist in the drafting of consumer complaint or detailed response after any examinations
